Click here to download the app. Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended". The scanners resolution is also by inch. So the scanner is capable of much more pixels than you can handle. Also Note for future reference the difference between say 150 dpi file output and 200 is big but the difference between 200 and 300 is not that big. 200 can work quite well and the difference between 250 and 300 is not much at all.
